The Heart and Small Intestine are the organs associated with the Summer season. The Spleen and Stomach are associated with the late Summer Season. Here are some tips to have a healthier happier season.

 

Acupressure points – rubbing these points 30-60 seconds can stimulate and promote health and well-being. Feel free to step inside our office for clarification of these point locations

Heart 7  – With the palm facing up, on the inside of the wrist, on the little finger side of the crease where the hand meets the wrist                             

Functions: promotes a calm mind, alleviates anxiety, stimulates memory, corrects insomnia, alleviates sadness, fear and fright, and palpitations

Spleen 6 –  located just off the edge of the bone approximately 3 inches above the inside ankle

Functions: Abdominal pain & distention, loose stools, fatigue, vaginal discharge, hernia, PMS symptoms, low libido, vertigo, dizziness, insomnia

Other beneficial acupressure points:

Stomach 36 – balances digestion, helps fight fatigue, supports immune system, depression, dizziness, headaches, anemia

Small Intestine 3 – used for stiff neck & shoulders, low back pain, headaches, tinnitus, night sweats, sore throat, dizziness, earaches
